To the question of regional economic development and financial security on the example of the Tula and Kaluga regions

The article deals with the indicators of economic development of Tula and Kaluga regions at the present stage. The volume of gross regional products per capita is analyzed. The rates of development of the leading sectors of the economy in the regions are compared. The most important indicators of public resources are considered: budget revenues and expenditures, their deficit, volume, dynamics and structure of regional public debt, directions and volumes of financing of implemented state programs and the structure of expenditures of budgets per capita.
