On the issue of the quality of military-professional training of the students (cadets) with the usage of modular education (on the example of Military Academy of Strategic Missile Forces named after Peter the Great and Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School named after army general V.F. Margelov)

The article considers the approaches of modular presentation of education content in the line with competency-based format of educational process; the ways and conditions of increasing effectiveness of students' (cadets') professional training with the help of adoption of modular education technology based on the competency approach in the educational process are disclosed.
