To the question of methodology of investigation of road transport accidents on the example of Kostroma region

This article discusses the problems of ensuring road safety. The provisions of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of road safety are analyzed. The necessity of increasing the driving culture and the legislative level of toughening of liability for boorish behavior on the roads and dangerous driving are revealed and justified. Based on the study, the author makes a conclusion about the change in the state of road accidents from 2015 to 2017, suggests ways to improve the state of the road.
