To the question of private-law nature of international organizations

In modern conditions, the economic activity of legal entities is not limited to the limits of one state, and the number of such legal entities is increasing all the time. International organizations, as subjects of private international law, are subject to certain legal norms in their activities. The article deals with the peculiarities of international organization’s participation in civil and economic relations. The specific aspects of international legal entities are studied. The analysis of different approaches to the legal regulation of private law relations with the participation of international non-governmental organizations. It is argued that the participation of international intergovernmental organizations in private law relations is regulated by a complex set of regulations of both international and domestic origin.
