To the cyclization of short stories in Russian literature of the second half of XIX century

The article is dedicated to the problem of I.V. Turgenev's «A Sportsmen's Sketches» genre traditions in cyclisation of a «short prose» in literary process during the second half of 19-th century. Principally the article examines the populist cycle as historically caused stage of this genre evolution in russian literature, as reflection of short and long genres interaction in literary process during the second half of 19-th century.
