The article examines the role of state-owned enterprises in meeting the various needs of society. The main factors influencing the efficiency of state-owned enterprises are shown. Increasing the socio-economic efficiency of state-owned enterprises in modern conditions requires an integrated approach, therefore it is very important to be able to analyze the main performance indicators of state-owned enterprises, because the transparent and continuous functioning of such enterprises depends on this.
