To a question of the current version of art. 73 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation

Purpose: Article is sent for consideration of problems of the current version of Art. 73 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Methodology: The author applied formal legal, comparative-legal and statistical methods. Results: In article the author’s position expresses the nature of legislative changes of this norm and on as far as they allowed to optimize the operating system of criminal sanctions instead of frequent application of conditional condemnation. Novelty/originality/value: Article has the high scientific value as contains conclusions and offers, valuable to science and practice.
