On the question of the ESG transformation of the regional economy

The article is devoted to the analysis of the main directions of the ESG transformation of enterprises, taking into account the regional and industry specifics. The authors emphasizes that the trend towards sustainable development of the regional economy remains important and relevant. The specifics of the ESG concept of enterprise modernization are considered and various approaches to the rating assessment of such a transformation are described. It is concluded that regional ESG features depend on the composition and industry affiliation of enterprises located in the region, as well as on the speed of their transition to technologies that meet ESG principles.
