On the issue of the financial and legal nature of cryptocurrencies

Examines the problem of determining the legal nature of cryptocurrencies and examines the issue of classifying cryptocurrencies as objects of financial rights. The author raises the issue of the relationship of cryptocurrencies with financial and civil law. By comparing the objects of regulation of the two branches of law, the author comes to the conclusion that the object of study in question occupies an adjacent position between them. The paper provides examples of cryptocurrency regulation by the legislation of foreign countries, as well as various points of view of researchers on determining the legal status of cryptocurrencies. The author offers his own point of view on the definition of the legal nature of cryptocurrencies.
