The paper considered the pronominal and verbal paradigms for the patterns of addressing people used both in Spain and Latin America. A linguistic and historical analysis of a phenomenon of «voseo» is also presented. Some attention has been paid to nominal patterns of addressing people in the Venezuelan nationwide variant of the Spanish.
