On the question of forms of consumer protection in the Russian Federation

The article considers the theoretical analysis of forms of protection of interests and rights of consumers. The analysis of the category "forms and methods of protection of rights" and scientific approaches to their differentiation is carried out. The criteria for choosing forms of consumer protection are listed. The differentiation of non-judicial forms of consumer rights protection into such categories as alternative and pre-trial dispute settlement has been carried out, indicating their place in the legal mechanism. In conclusion, the point of view on the concept and correlation of various forms of consumer protection is argued.
