To the question of forming the conceptual apparatus of "digital diaspora". A brief historiographical overview

The digital Diaspora as a new reality has been a subject of research by Russian and foreign scientists for decades. Russian researchers became interested in this topic a little later than their foreign colleagues did: in the Russian Federation, they began to talk about the Diaspora as a special object only in the mid-90s of the XX century. The topic of digital communities is rather young, and the constantly evolving revolutionary changes in the field of information and communication technologies require constant development and transformation of its subject branch. Nevertheless, this fact does not prevent a number of Russian and foreign researchers to study different aspects of the digital Diaspora, as evidenced by the process of active formation of its conceptual apparatus is and significant increase in the number of studies supported by various grants.
