On the question of hypostasis of language by Martin Heidegger

The purpose of this study is to consider the views of Martin Heidegger's opponents regarding his hypostasis of language. Heidegger's concept of language (both in the early and late periods of his oeuvre) is criticized for excessive metaphysics and mysticism. It should be recognized that there are certain grounds for such critical assessments. However, the authors of the article argue that, firstly, Heidegger's theory should be perceived in its entirety; secondly, the problem of language should not be considered separately from his ontological project. The scientific novelty of the study is as follows. For the first time, it systematizes critical views on Heidegger's philosophy of language and provides a more constructive approach to assessing the legacy of the German thinker.
