To the question of the quality of the provided medical services and the existing problems in this sphere on the territory of the Russian Federation

The article defines the essence of the term "medical service" on the basis of the Federal Law, and also considers the factors that have changed its interpretation at the present time. Attention is paid to the quality of provided medical services and the problems inherent in Russian healthcare. Possible measures to improve the current situation are proposed. The possibility of reforming the health insurance system was considered.
