Sociocultural foundations of the transformation of cinematographic communication in the context of progressive and regressive changes in culture are considered in the article. It seems that the appearance of the film is intended to illustrate the prediction of F. Nietzsche regarding the future in which barbarism of a new type will arise. This regression is caused by transformation within the culture itself, which has reached its maximum level of development. The prediction of F. Nietzsche is surprisingly consistent with the practice of television and the unfolding contra-replay of our days.
