The article is devoted to the classification of sciences from the point of view of the Russian philosopher N. I. Kareev, who set himself the task of establishing the subject field of each of them and divided them into two groups: phenomenological (history) and nomological (psychology and sociology). It was obvious to the thinker that there was a fairly complex interaction between the facts and the laws of different levels of complexity, that is, less complex facts and patterns give rise to more complex ones, which subsequently have a certain effect on the simpler ones that gave rise to them. This objectively existing interrelation of laws, facts and phenomena led Kareev to think about the necessity to construct private sciences that study various phenomena of reality on the basis of a special, specific method, the application of which will give the best result in the analysis of the object of study of this particular science.
