On the issue of the competence of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the field of traffic management

This article is devoted to the analysis of the problem of competence of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the field of traffic management through the prism of changes in legislation in this area. The authors prove that the adoption of the Federal Law “On the organization of road traffic” marked the beginning of the differentiation of activities to ensure road safety and its organization. However, the text of the article revealed that there are some unsolved issues within the competence of the state traffic Inspectorate of MIA of Russia in the field of traffic organization, including control over the contents and installation of technical fixtures of traffic organization, participation in the agreement on the organization of trafficdocumentation.
