To the question of criteria of Russian defense industry efficiency

The article is devoted to the current situation in Russian defense industry, its problems and prospective. The author researches the set of assessment criteria, which prove the efficiency increase. Politics of the Russian government and instruments aimed to stimulate defense industry corporations overcome the stagnation period of 1990s and produce a new generation weapons and ammunition. The paper attempts to assess this phenomenon as a challenge to the international community in the new geopolitical situation.
