On the question of the logical approach in the philosophy of language

This article analyzes the features of the logical approach to language in philosophy from Antiquity to Modern times. The logical and grammatical principles of the approach to the study of the language of Aristotle are considered. The article describes the genesis of language learning in philosophical thought in Ancient Rome, medieval Europe, in particular, by «modists». The idea of universal grammar, which was developed by Modern thinkers, is also considered.
