To the question of the method of the express assessment of the stability of the economy of the territories to external shocks

The article deals with the issues of methodological support for assessing the sustainability of the economy of territories to external shocks, in particular, based on the use of express assessment techniques. On the example of the regions of the Volga Federal District, their economic stability was assessed using the MACON methodology. In the context of the analysis of the reasons for the change in the rating positions of the regions, the dynamics of the structure of value added in the sectoral context was analyzed. The use of the Ryabtsev index is substantiated as an alternative method of express assessment. It is concluded that it is expedient to use express assessment methods as additional tools for analyzing best practice experience.
