The issue of modeling regional development

Бесплатный доступ

The work is devoted to models of the dynamics of regional development. The need to use “human dimensions” in such models is shown. These measurements (quality of life of the population, human development, innovative activity of the region) take into account feedback from region to person and determine, for example, the impact on people of the quality of life in the region. They allow us to consider the qualitative changes occurring in regional development. It becomes possible to explore the transition to a new form of post-industrial society, in which the accelerating development of the regions is due to their innovative activity. The article presents empirical data that confirm the need to use human dimensions in regional development models.
