On some aspects of the "law of alienation" in history

Бесплатный доступ

The article considers a variant of applying the philosophical category of alienation to the historical process. According to the «law of alienation», power through the institutionalization of activity turns it from free to alienated, that ultimately leads to the alienation of the subjects of activity (people) from power, which in democratic societies is generated by the people themselves, and then and then turns into an external coercive force which opposes them. In this case, any activity, turning from free to alienated, tends to turn into a simulation, and the acting subject turns into a simulacrum, a copy of the non-existent original. When simulation as a form of alienated activity becomes total, all activity actually ceases, society degrades and eventually ceases to exist.
