Revisiting some of the ethnic organized criminality determinants

This article considers the system of ethnic organized criminality determinants in the Russian Federation, there are analyzed the approaches for this issue consideration, which are the current in domestic criminal law doctrine. The article author is offered his own classification of the factors, determining criminal activity of the created groups by ethnic principle. There is detailed analysis of the legal, cultural and psychological factors in the ethnic groups' criminal activity, the role of national cultural traditions and customs, as well as the mass media, where the doctrine traditionally has received less attention. This paper also examines separate aspects of destructive religious organizations' activity, which is helping the criminal activity of the organized ethnic groups, having extremist and terrorist nature.
