On the Issue of Some Organizational and Tactical Features of Interrogating Victims in Cases of Cryptocurrency Asset Theft and Fraud

The relevance of this study is due to the fact that currently there is no methodology for investigating cryptocurrency asset theft, as well as tactics for conducting specific investigative actions to investigate such crimes, in particular, the interrogation of the victim. The purpose of this work is to propose some organizational measures and tactics for conducting the interrogation of the victim, which allow for obtaining as much useful information as possible for the preliminary investigation, thanks to which investigative hypotheses can be formulated, as well as a series of subsequent procedural actions can be planned to establish the identity of the perpetrator. The methodological basis of the research includes general scientific and specific scientific methods: dialectical, formal logic (analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction), systemic, comparative, and others. As a result of the conducted research, a number of conclusions are drawn: the proposed organizational measures and interrogation tactics will allow the preliminary investigation to plan and conduct a series of other actions aimed at establishing the identity of the perpetrator; the obtained testimonies must be verified during other investigative actions.
