To the question about some legal aspects of the public mission of the police of the Russian Federation

The article presents an analysis of the essential directions of police activity, which constitute the quintessence of the law enforcement mission of police officers, designed to protect the rights, freedoms, life and health of a person and citizen, to counter crime, to protect public order, property and ensure public safety. Clarifying the content of certain legal definitions, the author focuses on the importance of the police adherence to the principle of legality, adherence to which predetermines public confidence in the police.
