To the question about some psychological techniques of establishing contact between the officers of internal affairs bodies and sources of operational information

The article considers some psychological techniques for establishing contacts between operatives and persons providing promptly relevant information, including on condition of anonymity. There are differences in communication during telephone contact and during a direct meeting. The barriers arising in the process of communication that affect its effectiveness are indicated. Taking into account the content of interaction with persons providing anonymous assistance, the organizational and tactical and psychological features of establishing operational contact with the named category of persons are distinguished. The psychological techniques the use of which will contribute to the establishment of trust relationship with sources of operational information and effective communication with them are mentioned.
