To the issue on the necessity of updating provisions of law regulating prosecutor's supervision for operational-search activity

The article considers the reasons of the necessity of updating provisions of Art. 21 of the Federal Law "On Operational-Search Activity" considering the existing law enforcement practice. The main drawbacks of the normative concept having negative effect on the cooperation of bodies carrying out operational-search activity and the prosecutor's office as well on the counteraction to the criminal encroachment are identified. The author proposes his own version of the Article and its provisions allow to solve or minimize the existing problems in a number of directions of the operational-search activity.
