To the issue of the necessity to admit guilt when concluding a pretrial agreement on cooperation under the legislation of the Republic of Belarus

The article is devoted to such a controversial issue as the admission of guilt by the suspect, being the accused in the course of concluding a pretrial agreement on cooperation that is an obligatory condition for initiating such agreement under the legislation of the Republic of Belarus. Based on the study of various approaches to this issue, as well as the interpretation of the concepts of «guilt», «admission of guilt», the necessity of refusing to admit guilt by the suspect as an obligatory condition of a pretrial agreement and the possibility of normative fixing this results are considered.
