On the issue of non-tariff regulation of foreign trade

Non-tariff regulation acts as a tool for influencing Russian foreign trade without the use of fiscal methods. This article discusses one of the main methods of non-tariff regulation - licensing of export-import operations. An analysis of the main indicators of the permitting procedure for moving goods and vehicles across the customs border was carried out, based on the results of which existing problems were identified. In conclusion, further directions for the development of non-tariff regulation of foreign trade are given.
