On the question of the pedagogical significance of the ethical category «conscience» in the process of educating the personnel of the internal affairs bodies

Consideration of the issues of education of employees of internal affairs bodies as representatives of the law enforcement system of the state in the aspect of raising the level of their legal culture and legal awareness today is one of the conditions for building a partnership model of interaction between society and the state. The article is devoted to the study of the content of the concept of "conscience" as one of the categories of ethics from the point of view of pedagogical significance in the educational work in the internal affairs bodies. The author, analyzing the existing approaches of scientists to the ethical definition of the essence of conscience, summarizes their opinions, and also formulates and justifies his own conclusions regarding the issues under consideration in the framework of improving the effectiveness of the education of the personnel of the internal affairs bodies.
