Transition to a green economy and development of environmental entrepreneurship

The purpose of is paper is to substantiate the need for a transition to a new model of the world economy and the development of environmental entrepreneurship. The research considers the green economy as a new model for the development of the world economy, formulates the stimu lating and limiting factors for the transition to a green economy, studies the global green economy index, analyzes a long-term strategy for the development of a green economy, and also considers the development of environmental entrepreneurship using the example of the EU countries. Finally, the recommendations for countries on the transition to a green economy were specified.
