On the issue of the prospects of human legal personality in the light of the ideas of transhumanistic transformations

Nowadays, the achievements of scientific and technological progress allow us to raise the question of possible prospects for the improvement of the human body by technical means, about cybernetic immortality, about the transfer of personality to an alternative medium. It seems that in the case of the implementation of these technologies, a revision of the ideas of legal personality that have developed in legal science will also be required, since in the case of such transformations, in addition to man as a biosociospiritual being, other actors may appear capable of perceiving the texts of normative legal acts and, one way or another, participate in legal relations. This article will explore possible ways of developing ideas about human legal personality in the light of possible transhumanistic transformations through the prism of views on legal personality formed in various types of legal understanding. When writing the article, methods of analysis, synthesis, thought experiment, and elements of an interdisciplinary approach were used.
