On the issue of digitalization policy and its impact on the education system in the all-Russian context (threats and risks)

The paper argues for the idea that the education system influences managerial decision-making at the public and private levels, which ultimately determines the society’s quality of life and the state of the country’s security. Hence, it seems important to study the process of digitalization, which has changed and is changing all spheres of society, including the educational process. Studying the process of digitalization of education means conducting various kinds of monitoring, assessments and ratings that reflect the level of development of digital transformation and the impact on the quality of educational services. The use of digital technologies ensures both the satisfaction of the growing needs of modern society and its socio-economic development. Nevertheless, the active process of digitalization carries potential threats and risks that need to be taken into account when implementing the digital transformation strategy in all object sectors.
