On the issue of a specialist's assistance in seizing electronic storage devices while searching in the cases of illicit drug trafficking by means of the Internet

The latest achievements of science and technology, IT-technologies affect on the all types of human activity including criminal one. The article considers some issues of a specialist's assistance in seizing electronic storage devices while searching in the cases of illicit drug trafficking by means of the Internet. The author suggests to add the notion of electronic storage device to the Code of Criminal Procedure of RF as well as the list of particular cases when it's necessary to employ a specialist for seizing electronic storage devices.
