On the question of the concept of manufacture and processing of narcotic drugs (article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)

The legislative, judicial and doctrinal interpretation of the concepts of manufacture and processing of narcotic drugs are considered in the article. Typical errors in investigative and judicial practice made in the specification of illegal manufacture and processing of narcotic drugs are presented and analyzed in the article. Signs of illegal manufacture and processing of narcotic drugs are highlighted, which can be used to differentiate these actions from each other and to distinguish from similar actions such as acquisition, preparation and production of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances.
