On the question of legal capacity in the Russian civil law

The issue of legal capacity was widely discussed in the civil law doctrine. As a result of the discussions, number of legal capacity concepts emerged. The article covers the most significant and disputable ones. The most widespread opinion in Soviet and modern period is that legal capacity is the subjective right. Some scholars considered legal capacity as a legal form. And the dynamic legal capacity concept, which entailed serious discussions, undoubtedly deserves to be examined.
