To the question of the legal nature of action aimed at use of someone else's name for indication of the own works (a brief analysis of the approaches of the different legal systems)

Purpose: The legal qualification of the attribution to the own worksthe other persons names in order to determine the legal consequences of such violation. Methodology: Historical-legal and formally-legal method was used. Results: The article contains analysis of action aimed at use of someone else’s name for indication of authorship to the own works in order to mislead buyers of such works and retrieve the illegal income. The legal evaluation is provided with respect to such kind of the violations along with identification of particular legal regulations applicable in such cases. Novelty/originality/value: The article is of high scientific value being one of the first attempts toperform the legal qualification of use of someone else’s name for indication of the authorship to the own in order to order to mislead buyers of such works and retrieve the illegal income.
