To the problem of the legal nature exemption from criminal liability

This article analyzes the legal nature of the rules of exemption from criminal responsibility under the new Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The authors defined the essence of the institution, based on the concept of criminal responsibility, outlines the scope of the legal content and the implementation phase of exemption from criminal responsibility, which allows to distinguish it from adjacent criminal law institute of release from punishment.
