Legal regulation of the use of vehicles with artificial intelligence

Introduction: this article presents the results of the study concerning the issues of legal regulation in the use of highly automated vehicles. Materials and Methods: in the course of work on the article, comparative legal, systemic and structural and statistical methods were used. The empirical basis of the study were normative legal acts of the Government of the Russian Federation, laws, both Russian and foreign, as well as the developments of expert groups. Results: in the course of the study, it was concluded that, within the scope of the application of highly automated vehicles, it was advisable to use the legislative experience of foreign countries, taking into account the plans for the widespread use of cars with artificial intelligence on the roads of the Russian Federation. Discussion and Conclusions: legal regulation in highly automated vehicles in the Russian Federation is paid less attention than in foreign countries. Positive foreign experience is a necessary foundation for the development of modern Russian theory of law and legislation.
