On the visit of Henry of Prussia to the Far East in the late 19th century

The topic of this study is the visit of the younger brother of the German Emperor Wilhelm II, Prince Henry of Prussia, to the Far East in the late 19th century. Based on various sources, primarily the memoirs of German and Russian military and political figures, the author analyzed the reasons for this visit. The study presents the activities of Henry of Prussia aimed at spreading the influence of Germany, protecting and promoting its economic and political interests in the Far Eastern region. The author notes that the activities of Prince Henry contributed to the unity of the Germans living in the region, raising their patriotic spirit. Special attention is paid to the staying of Henry of Prussia in the Russian Far East, his contacts with German entrepreneurs who ran their business here.
