To the question about the reasons of crimes committed by labor migrants in the Russian Federation

Currently, no country in the world can successfully develop its economy while in isolation. In addition to the internal labor resource, countries actively use the labor of foreign citizens arriving in recipient states with the aim of earning money. Meanwhile, a significant problem is the involvement of labor migrants in the crime sphere, the growth of which actualizes the problem of studying the causes of this phenomenon, as well as the development of recommendations that prevent the increase in illegal, guilty, socially dangerous acts committed by both labor migrants and with their participation, or directed against foreign citizens. In this article, the author, on the basis of statistical material from recent years, substantiates the significance of the problem under study, identifies the main reasons for the growth of crime among labor migrants and some possible ways to reduce it.
