Concerning the nature of marriage

The article discusses the features of legal interpretation and legal essence of the category of “marriage” from the standpoint of the current Russian legislation, as well as the doctrinal approach. The study distinguishes various theories of marriage, reveals the differences between them. Finally, the author concluded about the integrated nature of the category under investigation.
