Lacunas in chapter 52 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation against lawyer and investigator

Introduction: the article deals with topical issues related to lacunas in the norms of Chapter 52 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation regulating special proceedings against an investigator and a lawyer. Materials and Methods: the research is based on the logical method and the analysis method. Results: it is established that the norms providing for special proceedings against special subjects - a lawyer and an investigator, require legislative consolidation of the procedure for their criminal prosecution with clear deadlines and specification of procedural actions in relation to the above-mentioned persons. Discussion and Conclusions: the article sets out a proposal for addressing lacunas in the standards of Chapter 52 of the Code to avoid controversial situations in practical activities while bringing to criminal responsibility of persons investigator and a lawyer.
