To the question of problems with training pilots of civil aviation

The deficit of pilots is one of the most significant problems in the aircraft sector. It influences directly the safety of flights and is caused by imperfection of the system of training commercial pilots. The following problems in training pilots are revealed: quantitative results of accepting students to organizations of civil aviation do not correspond to the actual need for pilots, flying time of graduating students is less than standard, material and technical basis of the specialized schools do not correspond to the qualifying standards, elimination of military departments results in the loss of qualification, graduating students of the specialized schools need for a higher engineering education. It is necessary to find an integrated solution in the shortest possible time as the mentioned problems will eventually lead to decreasing the index of safety flights.
