On the problem of legal regulation of guardianship and custody of minors

This article examines the institution of custody and guardianship of minor children, and also analyzes a number of legal problems associated with its application. It is proposed to amend the legislation that directly regulates this institution. The article examines the issues of legal regulation of the norms of family and civil legislation on the establishment of guardianship and trusteeship over minors, as well as on the implementation of their right to protection, and other problematic aspects arising in the practical application of the relevant norms.
