On problem of origin of political elite

Among the many problems that form the basis of the modern sociological theory of the political elite, representatives of Russian sociology draw particular attention to the origin of the political elite, its essence and characteristics, assessment of personality traits and indicators of members of this group, as well as features of its recruitment and functioning at various levels organization of society, primarily federal and regional.
