On the Problem of Conducting the Special Operations to Prevent and Eliminate Environmental Consequences from Natural and Man-Made Emergencies

The authors have identified a close relationship between environmental protection and the economic, social and energy issues. It was established that the peaceful nuclear tests carried out in the USSR had economic prerequisites and environmental consequences. The authors note that the environmental situation after special operations carried out in the Perm region through nuclear explosions forced people to leave their homes and households. At the same time, nuclear contamination of soils and waters has been continued until these days. The need to take measures to mitigate the environmental consequences of natural and manmade emergencies was noted.
