Ways to increase efficiency of teaching English as a key factor for the development of international cooperation at university

In the current conditions of the international cooperation development and entering of many Russian universities into the international market of educational services, the issues of increasing the efficiency of teaching English at non-language faculties have a paramount importance. The article describes the level organization of language learning developed by Cambridge University and presented as the Common European Framework of References for Languages in the International Standard to improve the educational process. After the analysis of these standard principles, textbooks produced by Oxford and Cambridge press, and test results of the SUSU students’ English skills we defined the key components of the level organization for the university language teaching. The model for the students’ groups forming and scheduling, textbooks, the ways to increase English teachers’ methodic competence are offered. The results can be used for the level organization of English language teaching at universities.
