On the question of the spread of Islam in Dagestan

The Republic of Dagestan is currently the most complex region of the Russian Federation in the field of interethnic relations. This republic has become home to about a hundred nationalities, of which more than thirty are indigenous. Due to its unique location between Asia and Europe, Dagestan has historically been continuously involved in large-scale cultural and religious processes. The article is devoted to the process of Islamization of Dagestan. The article reveals the consequences of the spread of Islam in Dagestan.
