On the issue of distinguishing the acquisition or sale of property knowingly obtained by criminal means and legalization (laundering) money or other property acquired by criminal means

The article discusses the problems related to the differentiation of crimes provided for in Articles 174, 175 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The analysis of the differences in the objective and subjective composition of the mentioned articles is given. The characteristic features inherent in Articles 174 and 175 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation were identified, and similar features of the elements of the crime were revealed. The study is based on an analysis of Russian legislation.
